The entire history of middle earth can be followed along side the race of Elves. The Elves are by far the most noble of all the races, and they remember what evil can do to their home land. Long ago the Elves divided into different fractions settling throughout middle earth. Most of the Elves settled in the different ancient forests of middle earth. The Elves are very strong but tend to avoid combat using their keen sense of intelligence instead. Elves do not have a time that they expire. An elf can live forever as they will not be plagued by the type of sicknesses that affect others. The only real way Elves can die is in the heat of battle. The Elvin race has stood up to help battle the forces of evil and create a sense of balance once again to middle earth.
